Osaka's hotels marked the highest occupancy ratio in Japan.

According to the tourism white book released by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MLIT) on June 12, Osaka's hotels marked the highest occupancy ratio,62.1%, in June-August 2006 period. As for hotel guest numbers, Osaka had 3,760 thousands, which is the 4th largest guest number in Japan. Hyogo had the 10th biggest number of hotel guests, and Kyoto 11th.
