Osaka University and Kansai University concluded a comprehensive accademic exchange agreement.

Osaka University and Kansai University announced that they concluded a comprehensive academic exchange agreement on June 11. The first synergy coming up with from the agreement is that Osaka's institute focusing on environmental issues will accept Kansai's students as early as next semester. Osaka University concluded a comprehensive academic exchange agreement with another domestic university for the first time. It is worthy of remark that a public university concluded this type of agreement with a private university. Osaka University has a medical school, and Kansai University has an advantage on engineering. Their cooperation might achieve new technological development relating medicals or other fields. Osaka University is also aiming to learn management know-how from a private school.

Osaka University is one of the most prestigious public university in Japan.
